Product Description

Part Number: 121-2297-Tip-Baffle (breakdown below)

Upgrade your 2017-up Harley-Davidson® Touring model with a pair of TAB Performance B.A.M. (Bad Ass Mufflers) 4.5" slip-ons. These exhausts feature a tip-ready design, a removable baffle core, and an oversized 4.5" body that delivers a bold, modern look. Choose from multiple finishes, tip cuts, and baffle types to build the exact sound and style you want. Each order includes two mufflers, your chosen baffles, and matching tips.

TAB’s proprietary louvered core is engineered to produce the deep, throaty exhaust note the brand is known for. When properly tuned, riders can typically expect double-digit horsepower gains on a stock motorcycle. TAB also offers compatible air filters and auto-tuning fuel controllers to complete a Stage 1 upgrade at an excellent value.

The tips can be rotated in 90-degree increments, allowing quick changes in appearance. Installation can be done at home with basic tools and generally takes 15 minutes or less. Both chrome and black finishes are available, making it easy to mix and match for future customization.

These mufflers are qualified manufacturer-declared U.S. 50-state legal emissions replacement parts when installed on 2017-up Harley-Davidson Touring models with no other modifications. Noise regulations may vary by state, so off-road use could be required in some areas.

Additional Fitment Notes

  • Compatible with factory CVO muffler heat shields

  • Tips sit directly in the exhaust path; discoloration may occur, especially on the left side, and is considered normal wear

  • Rotating the tips upward may make discoloration more visually noticeable

Fitment
These pipes will fit the following Harley-Davidson FL Touring 2017-Up: Electra Glide Standard Electra Glide Revival Road King Road King Special Street Glide Street Glide Special Street Glide ST CVO Street Glide Road Glide Road Glide Special Road Glide ST Road Glide Ultra CVO Road Glide Electra Glide Ultra Classic Ultra Limited Ultra Limited Low CVO Limited Do NOT fit 2017 - Up Tri Glide or Freewheeler these use the '95-'16 Model style exhaust. International Note: Some international 2021-Up Models use a special gasket in between the muffler and the head pipe. If you have this set-up you will need to replace your headers for any after-market pipe fitment. 2023.5 and Up Fitment note: Newer models have taller shocks which move the swingarm closer to the muffler. If you have enough pre-load in the rear shocks, you may encounter a very tight clearance between the muffler and the swingarm. In most cases, the weight of the bike alone will compress the shock enough to provide plenty of clearance. However, enough pre-load will prevent the shock from compressing and can potentially cause the muffler to contact the belt tensioner cam when there is no weight on the bike. If you experience this, you may need to reduce the pre-load just enough so the shock can compress under the weight of the bike.
